Thursday 2 November saw our eleventh (yes, eleventh!) annual Academy Graduation and Awards Ceremony.
What began as a comparatively small event in 2004 welcomed record numbers of graduates and guests in 2017, including more than 130 Apprenticeship graduates. Hosted by John Holland-Kaye, Heathrow CEO, and Paula Stannett, Chief People Officer, and joined by our special guest The Rt Hon. the Lord Blunkett and with a band for entertainment it was an evening of celebration for all.
This annual event is a celebration for all graduates who have completed their Apprenticeship over the past year, for the forward-thinking employers who recognise the amazing contribution Apprentices and Apprenticeships bring to their business and for the mentors who spend much of their own time supporting their colleagues undertaking this amazing opportunity to learn and develop.
