General Foreman

Dyer & Butler are presently seeking to recruit a General Foreman to work for their successful Aviation Division.

Initially you will be engaged to support their Heathrow site. 

This role offers the opportunity to work in a unique, safety-critical environment, working within one of the world’s most prestigious airports.

The successful applicant will have extensive knowledge in all areas of Ground Works, including drainage, pavements (concrete and asphalt), highway construction, foundations, footings, earthworks cut/fill, substructures, and working around underground services in addition to other areas.

Overall day-to-day supervision of projects, assisting the Project Management Team in ensuring they are delivered safely on time and within budget. This role is a night-time working position but, due to the nature of our airside operations, will have a requirement for some day shifts.

Essential:

• SMSTS
• Driving License
• Good working knowledge of all type of groundwork
• Comfortable managing a site team, and liaising with client representatives.
• Demonstrate the right behaviours to ensure the culture is in line with our Company values
• CSCS Card Black/gold preferred

Desirable:

• Plant knowledge (current CPCS excavator qualification)
• Confined space
• Cat and Genny training and experience.
• Good knowledge of Airport environment
• First Aid ticket
• Willingness to work nights
