About The Role

With the resurgence of work and continued expansion of their Aviation Division, Dyer & Butler are excited to present this new opportunity for  a talented Project Engineer (Quality) to join their Heathrow and Regional Projects Team.
As an Engineer with Dyer & Butler you will be involved on a variety of challenging Civil Engineering Projects.

Your key activities will include:
Take the lead in quality management for a strong team in a dynamic working environment.
Liaise closely with the client and develop strong working relations.
Develop a detailed understanding of the departments and clients needs and proactively manage compliance and improvement.
Develop a detailed knowledge client and D&B specifications and ensure compliance.
Develop a library of ‘best practice’ documents for typical Aviation works.
Provide Quality Assurance ensuring compliance against the Company Management System.
Develop new client reports, and
Work with project delivery staff in preparing project documentation.
Monitor the implementation of the quality system documented information by the site team, sub-contractors and suppliers.
Assist with the preparation of site procedures, activity plans and assurance records to ensure that staff have comprehensive and complete records for work carried out
Contribute to the project programme of audits of Dyer & Butler work and subcontractors / suppliers and support the close-out of corrective actions.
Cooperate with staff and client representatives to ensure that problems of quality are solved promptly and efficiently.
Report monthly on the status of the project systems and concerns.
Work proactively to resolve NCRs in a timely and satisfactory manner.

About You

Your qualifications, skills and experience should include:

  • Experience supporting the planning, implementing, monitoring and improvement of quality management systems in relation to site activities.
  • Membership of, or working towards, a related professional body at 'affiliate/associate' level, or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in the application and use of information technology.
  • Awareness of digital construction applications, platforms and practices (desirable)
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent technical qualification (desirable).
  • Between 2-4 years' experience of working in construction project delivery (desirable).
  • Basic knowledge of Lean construction practices and techniques (desirable).
