Project Engineer - Electrical

Dyer & Butler are presently seeking to recruit a Project Engineer to join their successful Aviation Division.

You will be working on project frameworks covering a variety of safety and security-critical infrastructure works for our main client Heathrow Airport.

As a Project Engineer for Dyer & Butler, you will be working on MEBF engineering projects from planning stage through to final accounts.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
• Site leadership and management
• Health & safety management
• Managing all resourcing for the efficient delivery of the projects
• Effective stakeholder engagement and management
• Strong input into project tendering and estimating
• Producing/reviewing method statements and risk assessments
• Programming and planning
• Commercial reporting and cost management, including project change
• Client liaison
• Management of plant & materials
• Responsible for compliance to procedures and specifications; both Dyer and Butler and the Client
• Responsible for all correspondence and record keeping in accordance with Dyer & Butler procedures

• Ideally qualified with NVQ6 or above and/or 18^th addition regulations, with a successful track record managing MEBF projects
• Ideally a formal project management qualification, such as APM
• Project management & delivery experience within a safety critical environment
• Fully conversant with safety regulations (particularly CDM)
• Possess a strong commercial acumen with knowledge of project management and NEC forms of contract, to manage day to day contract obligations
• Demonstrable experience with both the commercial & project deliverables on previous projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate the people working with you
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• CSCS Card – Black
• SMSTS Qualified
• Full Clean Driving License
• IT Literate
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors
