Due to a new project win the position of Senior Quantity Surveyor has become available to join Costain’s newly established team based in Heathrow.
As Heathrow embarks upon its 7th regulatory period “H7”, Costain was awarded two lots as Major Project Partner and Asset Renewal Partner for Terminal 2 – The Queen’s Terminal.
This role will be site based with the option for dynamic working.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor your key responsibilities include:
- Commercial Manager/Senior Commercial Manager
- Negotiate Subcontract and contract drafting and secure best value outcome
- Recording minutes at contractual meetings and able to demonstrate the ability to collate information, prepare reports, payment certificates and interim financial reports and closeout reports
- Operating office management systems including filing systems and document control and distribution
- Draft effective contractual correspondence and the facilitation of collaborative solutions
