About The Role

Due to project growth, the position of Industrial Relations Advisor has become available to join our Integrated Transport sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a career enhancing project where you will be a welcomed member of the wider team. Costain are looking for skilled people who'll help us shape, create and deliver pioneering solutions that transform the performance of the infrastructure ecosystem across the UK.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days based in our Heathrow office and is offered on a part time basis 18 hours per week.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will have an ability to champion Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the core of day-to-day duties and help the environment and communities to thrive. You will have the integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way.

Your skills will include:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
• Confident/Enthusiastic in problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Drivers licence or easy ability to travel around Hounslow and Berkshire Supplier sites on a monthly basis as required.
• Deliver the Industrial Relations (IR) agenda including IR assurance on behalf of Costain
• Ensure Costain’s IR compliance is maintained throughout the supply chain.
• Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way
• Must be customer focused by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs
• Develop relationships with key site management, commercial function, H&S colleagues and logistics and welfare teams and build IR awareness and capability throughout the project team
