When you register with us to apply for job opportunities or use our contact forms we will collect information to identify you as an individual including, but not limited to;

  • Reference information

If you submit referee details to us of any other person (e.g. a friend or family member), please make sure you have their permission first.

We seek to ensure that our information collection and processing is always proportionate. We will notify you of any changes to information we collect or to the purposes for which we collect and process it.

No automated decisions are made affecting your personal data.

The Academy will collect details of your gender and ethnic origin for the purposes of statistical analysis to monitor our diversity engagement with local minority communities and to ensure equal opportunities. The information you provide will be collated and anonymised and not used to identify you individually.

Your information will be handled and may be used by the following recipients in order to deliver our services and provide you with updates or more information:

  • ePloy (ITS Software Systems Limited), who manage our database
  • Mooreskills Ltd, K10 Ltd or PeoplePlus Group Ltd, who deliver our Apprenticeship services.

We will keep your information within the Academy and our trusted third parties except where disclosure is required by law, for example to government bodies and law enforcement agencies.  Your information is processed only in the UK and is not moved or transferred overseas.

How long will The Academy keep my information?

Your information will be retained for a reasonable period, currently 6 years. Your information will be retained in a secure environment and access to it will be restricted according to the ‘need to know’ principle.

What rights do I have over my personal data?
