Electrician

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2365 Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent).
• BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition certified.
• JIB ECS Gold Card holder.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to obtain and maintain airside security clearance (DBS check).
• Experience installing, testing, maintaining, and fault-finding on electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and industry regulations.
• Comfortable working in safety-critical and operational airport environments.
• Willing to participate in a call-out rota when required.
• Strong team player with a proactive and safety-focused approach.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desirable:

• SSSTS certification.
• PASMA qualification.
• IPAF qualification.
• CP1 Competent Person Substation Entry.
• Experience with Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL).
• ESR 2 Skilled Person certification.
• Confined Space AP qualification.
• Previous experience within aviation, infrastructure, or other safety-critical environments.
